- Members must produce on request their membership card.
- All members intending to shoot must pay the current range fee before shooting.
- BOAC membership fees are due on 1st January each year and must be paid by the 28th February or revert to the status of visitor.
- No shooting at animals.
- No shooting at or deliberately damaging trees.
- No littering.
- No dogs allowed.
- Only air rifles under 12ft lbs and air pistols under 6ft lbs and airgun ammunition are allowed on the range.
- BOAC shall be managed by the BOAC Committee Members. A quorum shall be a majority of Committee Members, including at least one of the following Chairperson, Secretary, or Treasurer.
- Failure to comply with these rules and/or any unsafe behaviour may result in disciplinary action. The committee may decide to revoke the person’s membership. The committee’s decision will be final.
- The right is reserved to refuse entry to any competition or to stop from shooting or to enforce the departure from any part of the shoot any person breaking the rules or for any other reason without giving any reason or right to redress.
- All persons and their property including vehicles are present at their own risk.
- All airguns should be treated as loaded at all times. Always politely correct any unsafe practice you see, No Matter Who.
- All members must report any unsafe behaviour to a BOAC committee member.
- No weapon should be pointed at any person, loaded or unloaded.
- When it is necessary to enter the target area a long single loud blast on a whistle must be used, then all shooters must cease firing, discharge and make safe their weapon and shout “clear”. Only when all shooters have shouted “clear” can person(s) enter the target area. On return to the firing point when nobody is left in the target area, two clear loud blasts on a whistle must be given before shooting can recommence. Think safety.
- Always keep the airgun pointing down range, especially whilst loading.
- Never shoot from above or behind another person.
- No cocked or loaded guns when moving between firing points. (Were practical magazine out, barrel broken, bolt open etc.)
- When horses can be heard down the lane it is courteous to cease firing, they are sensitive to the sharp crack of airguns.
- No gun should ever be pointed in the direction of the lane.
Visitor Rules
- All visitors must sign in whether shooting or not.
- Visitors who intend to shoot must pay the current visitor’s fee.
- Visitors must be signed in by a member who must ensure that they are aware of the club rules.
Junior Shooters
- Persons under 18 years can only have (family) membership. Persons 18 years and over are required to join as full members on the first January after reaching 18 years.
- Persons under 18 years are only permitted to shoot under the direct supervision of an adult over 21 years of age.
- Persons under 18 years are only allowed to shoot from the designated junior areas unless authorised by the committee.
- Persons under 18 are not allowed into the target area except at the discretion of the committee.

- Please note: The club´s annual general meeting will take place on the 3rd Sunday in November at 10:30 every year at the range. Unless advertised otherwise on the notice board. Members only.
